CLEVELAND – There will be no repeat of the 2017 fast finish that saved Marvin Lewis' job.
The Cleveland Browns made sure of that. Baker Mayfield and the blazing hot Browns added fuel to the dumpster fire of a season the Bengals are wrapping up. One which is now assured to end in the AFC North cellar.
The two games in The Battle of Ohio -- the first a 35-20 blowout at Paul Brown Stadium and the second, Sunday's 26-18 loss at FirstEnergy Stadium -- will certainly leave a lasting impression on Bengals' owner Mike Brown as he decides the fate of Lewis and his coaching staff after the season.
