Former Cincinnati Bengals guard Alex Cappa was released on Monday.
Now, Cappa has already found his new NFL home.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Cappa is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, just two days after being released by his former team. His agency announced it’s a two-year deal for $11 million.
It’s a pleasant surprise to see Cappa find his next team so quickly, but then again, everyone knew he was getting cut for months, so the Raiders have likely done plenty of work on Cappa and may have even planned to sign him prior to his release.
