Cornerback Adam Jones (foot) didn’t practice again Thursday, but he was on the field with the secondary and returners. That’s a good sign because he’s had weeks where he’s gone through the same routine and has played.
But it looks like they won’t have rotational defensive tackle Pat Sims (knee). He didn’t appear for the second straight day, which means they’ll go with Brandon Thompson. They’ve basically played the same amount with Sims playing in five games and Thompson four.
It’s unclear why right end Michael Johnson didn’t work Thursday after practicing Wednesday and the answer will be on the injury report later in the day.
