Katelyn (Kate) Deatherage: Scott High School, Taylor Mill, KY
Headed to University of Louisville majoring in English and Women’s Studies
after obtaining 3.6 GPA . . . mentor in the Hanner’s Heroes program, which pairs high school students with elementary students to engage in relationship building activities . . . . during her senior year she also volunteered at the Northern Kentucky University LGBT Center, and got a head start on her college career carrying a full load of dual credit classes at NKU and Scott .
