The NFL has suspended Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict for his hit on Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and his actions during their loss to the Steelers this past weekend, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter:
Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the first three games of the 2016 regular-season, per NFL.

The suspension claims that Burfict has repeatedly violated the league's player safety rules. Most of the infractions involve cheap shots delivered to opponents, including this hit on Brown:
The NFL also confirmed that Burfict was fined $50,000 for an illegal hit on Baltimore Ravens rookie tight end Maxx Williams in Week 17.
The NFL also says that that they are reviewing the actions of other players and coaches ing the Steelers-Bengals game for potential discipline.
