The Cincinnati Bengals have locked up one of their best players for a few more seasons.
The #Bengals and AJ Green have agreed to a 4-year extension worth $60M, source said.

Green's base salary this season is just above $10 million, so the extension gives him a modest pay raise.
The exact terms of the contract haven't been released yet, but there is no guaranteed money after the first season.
With Bengals not guaranteeing money beyond first year, key term was duration of deal. Four new years instead of five helped get it done.

That's a bit surprising, but it gives the Bengals flexibility in the event they wan to move on from Green in the near future.
With a four year contract, Green will have one more chance at another big-money deal in his early 30s.
