The Cincinnati Bengals won't have QB Andy Dalton Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, but he's not the only starter the Bengals will be without. Tight end Tyler Eifert and strong safety George Iloka will both miss the game as well.
Eifert is out with a concussion he suffered last week against the Steelers. Eifert is tied for the NFL lead with 12 touchdowns. In his breakout season, Eifert has reeled in 48 catches for 564 yards and the 12 scores. This is the second game this season the Bengals won't have Eifert starting. He missed Week 6 with a stinger. The team will likely start rookie Tyler Kroft in his place. Kroft has caught four passes for 52 yards this season.
Iloka won't be able to play because of a groin injury. He's recorded 44 tackles this season, four pass breakups and a pick. With Iloka out, Shawn Williams will likely get the start. Williams has 19 tackles and an interception this year.
OT Jake Fisher is also out for the Bengals, although he was not a starter. With Dalton out, the Bengals will give QB A.J. McCarron his first career start. On the bright side for the Bengals, CB Adam Jones will return after missing last week's game.
