They certainly didn't make it easy for themselves, but the Cincinnati Bengals snuck out of Tampa with a 14-13 win over the Buccaneers.
Turning Point:
This game hinged on a play on the final drive where Josh McCown appeared to find Louis Murphy over the middle for a 21-yard first down conversion. Bengals coach Marvin Lewis challenged that the Bucs had 12 players on the field at the time the ball was snapped, and the officials agreed, overturning the call and pushing Tampa back out of the danger zone. They were unable to convert on the ensuing series, turning it over and letting Cincy run out the clock.
Bengals MVP:
Whoever told Marvin Lewis to throw the challenge flag on that late Tampa drive. No Bengals players covered themselves in glory today.
Stat of the Day:
This was the second career game Andy Dalton won despite throwing three interceptions - he's 2-6 when throwing three picks since the Bengals drafted him in 2011.
What's Next?
The Bengals host Pittsburgh next weekend in a key divisional matchup, while the Bucs travel to Detroit still in search of their third win.
