The Cincinnati Bengals lost in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs for the fourth straight season, and are looking to improve their roster to finally get over the hump. Who are they targeting in free agency to do just that?
DE/LB Brian Orakpo
The Bengals really need another pass rusher after they couldn’t find a replacement for the departed Michael Johnson this past season. Margus Hunt, Will Clarke, and Wallace Gilberry weren’t able to get it done, and Cincy needs to find someone they can line up opposite of Carlos Dunlap. Orakpo is a three-time Pro Bowler and would provide the Bengals with a young, proven player.
TE Jordan Cameron
Cincinnati is looking for a second tight end to pair with Tyler Eifert, and Cameron is a proven commodity the Bengals wouldn't have to break the bank for. He only had 24 catches for 424 yards and two touchdowns this past season while dealing with injuries and poor quarterback play, but he’s still one of the top tight ends available shown by his outstanding 2013 season (917 yards, 7 TD’s).
CB Cary Williams
Williams isn’t an elite corner on the free agency market, but he’s in the second tier and would fill a desperate need for the Bengals and their aging secondary. He has Super Bowl experience from his time with the Ravens, and his physicality would be welcomed.
