With the NFL trade deadline is just over a week away (October 28), the Cincinnati Bengals are planning to put tight end Jermaine Gresham on the trade block, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
“They already have Tyler Eifert coming off an injury,” Rapoport said. “It seems they’ve already replaced [Gresham], he could be had too. When Eifert returns, the Bengals might not have much use for the veteran tight end, Gresham. If they plan to let him walk this season, it’s worth getting something in return for him. We hear the Seahawks are looking for a tight end."
Gresham started the season second on the depth chart behind Eifert, but was forced into the starting role when Eifert went down with an injury early in the season.
Through six games this season, Gresham has 24 catches for 177 yards and no touchdowns.
