The Cincinnati Bengals will have plenty of options to choose from in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft when they hit the clock at #21. However, there's just a select few guys who'll be at the top of the team's wishlist heading into the festivities in Chicago. Here's our list of 3 Players The Bengals Are Likely To Draft In The 1st Round.
DE Randy Gregory - Nebraska
Gregory is one of the most intriguing names in the entire 2015 draft class. After testing positive for marijuana when drug tested at the recent NFL Scouting Combine, the explosively talented pass rusher saw his stock drop like a stone in a lake. However, that could end up being the Bengals' gain if he a) drops to #21 & b) shows a true willingness to get his act together.
OT Ereck Flowers - Miami
Flowers plays with a true edge and a pronounced chip on his shoulder, and that aggressiveness will serve him well in the NFL trenches. With veteran Andrew Whitworth likely to shift over to left guard if/when he re-ups with the team after 2015, Flowers will have the perfect ready-made opportunity to anchor Cincy's O-line for years to come.
OL La'el Collins - LSU
Collins' best asset could be his versatility, but he's likely to be most effective slotted in at left tackle. That's the perfect fit for a Bengals team that could see an overhaul soon at the top of the depth chart for both tackle positions. Collins is a pure power blocker who has the propensity to physically overwhelm opposing rushers -- a quality which would endear him to head coach Marvin Lewis in a heartbeat.
