Last night wasn’t pretty. There were a number of odd decisions and unlikely mishaps by the Bearcats.
Tulsa, as we’ve been saying all year, is an awfully tough team.
This 27-24 victory was a genuine 60 minute battle.
But the Bearcats came out on top. So much of the credit has to go Desmond Ridder, who engineered that glorious game-winning drive down the stretch.
A lot of credit has to go to kicker Cole Smith as well for turning the page on that blocked field goal earlier in the quarter and taking care of business when the lights shone brightest.
