On Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., the Cincinnati Bearcats’ women’s basketball team heads down to Greenville, North Carolina for a matchup with the East Carolina Pirates.
The Bearcats head into the game at Williams Arena with a 16-10 overall record and a 7-6 mark in American Athletic Conference play. The Lady Panthers have struggled mightily this season, posting a 10-17 overall mark and a 1-13 record in the AAC.
ECU is on an 11-game losing streak. They have lost their last four contests by at least 20 points. On Jan. 21, the Bearcats scored a 74-64 home win over the Pirates in which Shanice Johnson poured in 22 points and Ana Owens scored the 1,000th point of her college career.
