Women’s Basketball Beats Memphis, 64-53

After eight days away from AAC competition, the Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team earned their third straight victory on Sunday, breaking a halftime tie to pull away from the Memphis Tigers 64-53.

The home game at St. Ursula Academy was knotted at 35 at the half.

A herculean effort by Bearcats senior point guard and co-captain Ana Owens broke this game wide open. She scored a game high 18 points, dished off 4 assists, and pulled down 6 rebounds. Sophomore front court standout Angel Rizor kicked in 13 points in the win.
