Between 2010 and 2020, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats basketball team’s defense was more efficient every year than its offense. The Bearcats scored fewer than 60 points in 86 different games while the defense was one of the best in college basketball.
That identity could change in 2020.
This season, the Bearcats offense could be more efficient than its defense for the first time since 2009.
“Everyone is fully bought into the style of play,” senior forward Keith Williams said. “Every day, guys are competing and in the gym extra. This team is different from the last teams I’ve had here.
