His Cincinnati career ended with a whimper, but he has been making plenty of noise in the CFL ever since.
Zach Collaros threw his last past as a Cincinnati Bearcat on Dec. 4, 2010. Unfortunately, it was intercepted by Pittsburgh’s Dom Decicco, ending the career of a player who threw for over 6,000 yards and 50 touchdowns for UC on a sour note.
The Bearcats went just 4-8 in Collaros’ last season, when he threw for just 1,940 yards and 15 touchdowns, although he did complete 61 percent of his passes. Still, he appeared to be set for stardom after flirting with 3,000 yards and piling up 26 scores in his junior season.
