The third and deciding match between the University of Cincinnati and Temple goes down Friday afternoon with both teams owning wins on their home floor. The Bearcats lost a seven-point lead early in the first one and could never recover. On Feb. 22, Landers Nolley II missed a game-winning trey to end regulation but made up for it by scoring nine of his 20 points in overtime as the Bearcats won by five.
"I have a ton of respect for their program," UC coach Wes Miller said. "They're tough, they're physical, they rebound. It's very difficult to score.
