Bearcats snap 2-game losing streak/ Tom Groeschen

The No. 25 Cincinnati Bearcats shook off the blues of a two-game losing streak and beat Mississippi State 65-50 on Tuesday night at Northern Kentucky University, as UC continues to run a tough four-game gauntlet.

The Bearcats were coming off losses to nationally ranked teams Xavier and Florida. Mississippi State had been unbeaten (8-0), but the Bulldogs had played a schedule ranked by Kenpom.com as 346th among 351 Division teams.
