An appearance for the Bearcats in the Week 2 Top 25 polls seemed like a long-shot, even after defeating the mighty Alabama A&M Bulldogs. Nonetheless, Cincinnati remains on the outside looking in, in the latest AP Top 25 Poll and Coaches Poll.
Cincinnati is coming off a business-like win over Alabama A&M, 52-10, with a very tough matchup against Temple on Saturday on deck.
There really wasn't any expectation that the Bearcats would suddenly jump into AP Top 25 relevancy due to their win over the SWAC East opponent. However, Cincinnati continues to receive votes in the latest AP Top 25 Poll that was released yesterday with seven votes.
