Samari Curtis, Ohio's Mr. Basketball and Xenia High School's all-time leading scorer, has decommitted from the Cincinnati Bearcats - after earlier decommitting from the Xavier Musketeers. But don't expect him to necessarily stay close to home.
Two minutes after Curtis tweeted Thursday night that he reopened his recruitment, he announced - also via Twitter - that he had received an offer from Virginia Tech.
It's not surprising considering the former UC assistant who recruited Curtis - Antwon Jackson - accepted a position last month on new Hokies head coach Mike Young's staff in Blacksburg.
