The Orlando Magic announced Wednesday that they signed former Cincinnati Bearcats guard Troy Caupain to a two-way contract, allowing him to spend up to 45 days during the 2018-19 season on the Magic's active or inactive roster.
He's expected to spend the rest of the season playing for the Magic's G-League affiliate in Lakeland. He averaged 15.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.4 steals in 51 games last season for Lakeland.
Late Tuesday, the 22-year-old Caupain posted a photo on Instagram of him signing a contract, thanking the Orlando Magic for "bringing me along on this journey letting me join the organization.
