After one of the most unusual offseasons in the history of college football, the Cincinnati Bearcats are inching closer to Saturday's season opener against Austin Peay at Nippert Stadium.
The coronavirus pandemic wiped out spring football, rearranged the Bearcats' fall schedule, and caused quite a bit of uncertainty to drift through the Cincinnati locker room. But head coach Luke Fickell said Tuesday he's doing his best to treat this week as much like a "normal game week" as possible.
"I don't want to take away from the football side of things, but there are a lot of different things that us as coaches are having to do," he said.
