For the second consecutive year, the University of Cincinnati women’s track and field team won the conference trophy as the Bearcats scored 138 points to easily win the 2017 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships held Friday through Sunday in Houston.
The team title is just the second in program history, along with the title won last year in Orlando. The Bearcats won 11 event championships on the weekend, with the women winning seven and the men four. The women won four titles on the final day of competition, including both relays.
