DALLAS - The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame will not be asking CBS Sports Network for the tape of Wednesday night's 52-49 University of Cincinnati win over SMU anytime soon. In a game where Acme Brick Company of Fort Worth sponsored mini pom-poms spread about Moody Coliseum, both teams chucked up enough bricks to build an additional wing on the building.
While holding the Mustangs to 35.1 percent shooting, the Bearcats misfired with regularity finishing at 26.6 percent. It was their worst shooting game of the season, even below the season-opening 27.4 percent against Ohio State.
