The University of Cincinnati will send a school-record number of athletes to the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships next week.
Eight Bearcats (six women, two men) will compete in the NCAAs from June 7-10 at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Last year, UC sent six athletes to the NCAAs.
The UC women's qualifiers are junior Loretta Blaut (Seton HS, Cincinnati) in the high jump, junior Annette Echikunwoke (Pickerington, Ohio) in the shot put, and the 4x400 relay team of sophomore Haisha Bisiolu (Union, N.J.), freshman Tiona Lattimore (Hughes HS, Cincinnati), sophomore Deanna Gesicki (Independence, Ohio) and junior Bryana Robinson (Atlanta, Ga.
