UC's Clark, Washington discuss Clark's 1,000-1,000 feat/ Tom Groeschen
Mick Cronin would rather not wonder where his University of Cincinnati basketball team would be without Gary Clark. Senior forward Clark on Wednesday night became only the fifth UC player with at least 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds, as he led the Bearcats to a 75-42 annihilation of Temple.
"It’s such a great feat," UC coach Cronin said afterward. "Any time you did something at Cincinnati that Oscar Robertson did, you’re doing something. I think it was (also) Paul Hogue, Jack Twyman and Bob Miller.
