In a month's time, Samari Curtis of Xenia High School has gone from winning Ohio's Mr. Basketball award as the University of Cincinnati's top recruit to seeing the Bearcats fall in the NCAA first round in Columbus to seeing Mick Cronin depart for the UCLA job.
While the news was disappointing, Curtis has spoken to his Xenia High coach Kent Anderson and is expected to stay a Bearcat.
"As far as I'm concerned and the way he talks, I think he's very content with staying at UC," Anderson said.
