The Cincinnati Bearcats now have lost three of their four previously scheduled non-conference games this football season, as the Mid-American Conference has decided to cancel its season because of player health and safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
The MAC on Saturday became the first FBS conference to cancel its season with plans to resume in the spring. Most other FBS conferences have announced plans for shortened schedules, electing to play conference-only slates. Connecticut, which was scheduled to play this season as an independent, became the first FBS program to cancel its season.
