Alas, the Quadrant 2 quality win is in the books for the Cincinnati's Bearcats. It didn't come as easy as many would have guessed early in the game.
Up 16 at one point in the second half, Central Florida was able to tie the Bearcats late in the game. A crowd that was hungry for a blowout had to settle for what was still a key conference victory, 73-64.
The Bearcats are now 16-8 (7-4 in the AAC). Redshirt sophomore Victor Lakhin had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead UC, with 18 of those points in the second half.
