Cincinnati star James Wiggins will not play in Thursday's season-opener against UCLA, a source told The Enquirer.
The junior safety will be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a knee injury earlier this week in practice, the source said.
The 6-foot, 205-pound Miami native had 54 total tackles and four interceptions last season, is considered one of the best athletes in the country and is a prospect for next year's NFL Draft.
