Despite mounting attrition in the Cincinnati football backfield this season, the Bearcats have made it to November with star Michael Warren II's workload cut drastically.
The junior running back has nearly 40 fewer carries through seven games this year compared to the first seven last season.
That could pay off in the coming weeks, according to Bearcats' coach Luke Fickell, as UC pushes for the AAC East Division crown and berth in the conference title game.
"I'm hoping that health down the stretch is going to be a big advantage to us, especially for Mike, because like I've said, he's a catalyst," Fickell said.
