A sellout crowd of 12,392 at Fifth Third Arena got some pretty good Saturday entertainment as UC defeated Memphis 71-69 to go to 25-4 (14-2 AAC). It took a pilfer from Logan Johnson at the end to ice the game. Memphis had called timeout after Trevon Scott made a late free throw to make it a two-point game. With four seconds, he missed the next but the freshman from California was there to steal the ball and seal the game.
"They looked confused about who they were going to give it to and I saw (Jeremiah) Martin on my side," Johnson said.
