PHILADELPHIA – To say the very least, UC has struggled away from its home floor, entering Wednesday just 1-4 in true road games.
But needing a win to keep pace with the leaders in the American, the Bearcats closed strong to take down Temple 89-82 at the Liacouras Center.
Chris Vogt and Trevon Scott led the way for UC throughout the night, with the pair combining for 34 points to spark the Bearcats’ offense. And that’s not to mention Jarron Cumberland, who came on strong after the break, scoring 21 of his 22 points in the final 20 minutes.
