The Cincinnati Bearcats rank 10 spots higher than the Xavier Musketeers in the AP Top 25.
The two teams meet Saturday in the annual Crosstown Shootout.
The 6-0 Bearcats rank No. 11, with 5-1 Xavier at No. 21 in the AP poll.
Last week, the Bearcats ranked No. 12 in the AP Top 25, with Xavier at No. 15.
In last week's USA TODAY's poll, UC ranked No. 13, and XU ranked No. 14. The new poll will be released later Monday afternoon.
6-1 Kentucky ranks No. 7 in the AP Top 25.
