After taking down Temple in Philadelphia Sunday 72-68 to go to 18-3 (7-1 American Athletic Conference) the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team had hoped to return to the Associated Press Top 25.
They will have to again wait.
In the most recently tally, UC wound up 27th, just behind No. 26 Auburn and just short of those listed in week 13 of the poll. Tennessee remains No. 1, followed by Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga and Michigan. Among area teams, Kentucky is at No. 7, Chris Mack's Louisville Cardinals are 15th and Purdue is No. 17.
