University of Cincinnati director of athletics Mike Bohn said that UC is having ongoing talks about a contract extension for basketball coach Mick Cronin.
“Absolutely,” Bohn said. “I’ll tell you this virtually every year we review Mick’s agreement and look for opportunities to demonstrate our commitment to him and our excitement about having him as coach.”
The Los Angeles Times reported that Cronin and Texas Christian coach Jamie Dixon are leading candidates for the UCLA coaching opening.
Cronin’s name was among those mentioned for the Alabama and UNLV openings that have since been filled.
