University of Cincinnati director of athletics Mike Bohn had an extended conversation on his cell phone just outside the Lindner Center Saturday.
If he was wrapping up the deal to replace Mick Cronin as basketball coach, he was not saying.
“I’m not talking,” Bohn told the Enquirer. “We've been respectful of our student-athletes, and we’re going to stay that way.”
The only thing Bohn said was search would be wrapped up quickly, probably before the four-day dead period next week.
It’s believed that the Bearcats will not make a surprise hire. That bodes well for Northern Kentucky coach John Brannen and Murray State coach Matt McMahon.
