Johnny Holton Jr. didn't top the Cincinnati depth chart at receiver, but was a playmaker for the Bearcats this season when given opportunities.
In his second year as a Bearcat, wide receiver Johnny Holton played in eight games, but amassed 461 yards and five touchdowns, having some games where he was a major impact player, despite not being the number one receiver on the depth chart.
In the opening game of the season against Alabama A&M, Holton caught three passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns in a 52-10 blowout. On the opening drive for the Bearcats, Holton nabbed a 6-yard TD from Gunner Kiel to give the Bearcats a 7-0 lead.
