Former University of Cincinnati Bearcats baseball and Springboro High School standout Tony Campana announced his retirement after playing parts of four Major League Baseball seasons and concluding his career in the Mexican League.

Campana hit .249 with a homer, 16 RBIs and 66 stolen bases in 477 MLB plate appearances for the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels between 2011 and 2014. He was caught stealing just nine times.
Campana played in the Mexican League from 2018 until he was released by Leones de Yucatán late last week.
