The Cincinnati Bearcats picked up a commitment from New Jersey center Nysier Brooks, who took an unofficial visit to UC over the last couple of days.

Brooks is a welcomed verbal for a team that loses most of their key contributors in the low post following the upcoming season. Octavius Ellis and Coreontae DeBerry, who commanded 28.7 minutes and 10.6 minutes of playing time last year respectively, and will likely do the same if not more this season.
