The University of Cincinnati football team's very unusual and unprecedented 2020 regular-season home schedule will come to an end Friday night.
The No. 7 Bearcats (both Associated Press and Coaches polls) are set to host East Carolina (1-5, 1-4 American Athletic Conference) in what could be the final game for Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium this season.
The AAC championship game will be played Dec. 19 at the home stadium of the team with the highest winning percentage in conference play. That could be Cincinnati (6-0, 4-0 AAC), but Bearcats coach Luke Fickell said he knows Friday is the "last guaranteed opportunity" for this senior class to play on its home field.
