LAS VEGAS – More than they needed a win, the Cincinnati Bearcats needed to show signs progress in a game against the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Runnin' Rebels away from the comforts of Fifth-Third Arena.
The Bearcats got all of the above Saturday in Sin City, defeating a decent Rebels team, 65-61, to move to 7-1 in 2018-19.
Just as every game this season has, UC's performance left some to be desired, but the first true road game of the season ended as decent prep work for a trying stretch of games in the coming days, as well as American Athletic Conference play.
