Even when he's not topping the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team in scoring, Jarron Cumberland is often driving the Bearcats bus to victory. Thursday night in front of 12,377 at Fifth Third Arena, Cumberland led UC with nine points at halftime against Central Florida.
In the second half, the Knights clamped down on No. 34, forcing him to miss all six shots he took. His only points came on a pair of free throws. But, with 24 seconds left, his biggest play may have been finding senior Justin Jenifer for an open look, which was promptly knocked down, giving UC a commanding six-point lead.
