Make it four gold medals for swimmer Caeleb Dressel at the Tokyo Olympics.
Dressel set an Olympic record to win the men's 50-meter freestyle in 21.07 seconds on Sunday at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
France's Florent Manadou took the silver in 21.55. Bruno Fratus of Brazil won the breonze in 21.57.
Dressel was set to return later Sunday for the 4x100-meter medley relay final. He entered the day with golds in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay, 100-meter freestyle and 100-meter butterfly, in which he set the world record.
Four other swimming medal events were scheduled for Sunday: the women's 50-meter freestyle, men's 1,500-meter freestyle and women's 4x100-meter medley relay.
