The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team is in a rough stretch, by far the most turbulent span of Wes Miller's first season at the helm of the Bearcats program.
A sold-out crowd packed Fifth Third Arena on Tuesday to watch Miller's squad suffer its second straight loss and third defeat in four games.
The 12,012 fans in attendance – one of whom was Miller's mentor, former North Carolina coach Roy Williams – weren't lost on Miller, who's desperate to lead the Bearcats (16-9, 6-6 American Athletic Conference) to smoother waters.
"Unbelievable atmosphere," Miller said. "I want to win for these people so badly.
