The UC Bearcats are a "sleeper" to win the national championship this season, according to SI.com's Seth Davis in his latest "Twitterbag column."
The Bearcats, 17-2 entering Thursday's Crosstown Shootout against Xavier, are the fourth of five teams Davis mentions as a sleeper.
From Davis:
4. Cincinnati. Once again, Mick Cronin’s group is quietly piling up wins—the Bearcats are 17–2 this season. They can grind with the best of them, but they have some legitimate offensive standouts in junior forward Kyle Washington and sophomore guard Jacob Evans.
One of Davis' other "sleeper" teams, Butler, is one of five teams to hand the Musketeers a loss this season.
