Cincinnati Bearcats guard Logan Johnson entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report Friday via Twitter from ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
The 6-foot-2 guard from Mountain View, Calif., averaged 2.0 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.9 minutes per game as a freshman.
Johnson chose UC over schools including UCLA, UC Santa Barbara and St. Mary's. Mick Cronin, the head coach of the Bearcats when Johnson committed in November of 2017 to play at UC, now coaches the Bruins.
