UC's Cumberland, Broome and Cronin talk of toppling Tulane Scott Springer, sspringer@enquirer.com
If the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team answers the bell in their American Athletic Conference road opener as they did in the home opener, coach Mick Cronin might be able to have a comfortable Saturday in Greenville, North Carolina.
Against Tulane Wednesday at home, UC jumped out quickly with a fast three-guard offense, distributed the ball and hit 3-pointers with great accuracy going 9-for-15 in the first half. UC had a 24-point halftime cushion and went on to win 93-61.
