David DeJulius was in tears following the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team's loss to Xavier in the Crosstown Shootout earlier this season.
"I just wanted this bad for my teammates," the junior guard said.
DeJulius had 16 points, six assists and five rebounds in the 77-69 loss and played a huge role on the defensive end while keeping the Bearcats on pace offensively.
He did everything he could.
Before the season, UC coach John Brannen raved about the 6-foot Michigan transfer's work ethic, saying DeJulius may be the hardest worker that he's ever coached.
