Earlier today I popped over to UC’s campus to check out the renovations on Nippert Stadium.
I anticipated I’d be impressed. After all, this is a renovation ten years in the making (it should have been incorporated with the Varsity Village project but let’s not play a game of coulda woulda shoulda). It’s been the only thing everyone’s been talking about, as Tommy Gelehrter taking us through the construction process month-by-month has kept it top of mind since workers broke ground. Plus it’s right smack dab in the middle of campus so it’s the only thing anyone can see when walking between most buildings.
